PF & ESI compliance falls under statutory compliances. Organisations with over 20 workers must fulfil PF compliance, and those with more than 10 workers must meet ESI compliance. Documents required for ESI registration include - Copy of PAN of company/partnership/firm, copy of Certificate of Incorporation / Registration certificate, a cancelled cheque, copy of electricity bill copy of rent/ lease agreement, copy of PAN and Voter ID cards of directors/partners, copy of Board Resolution if any etc.

Documents required for PF registration include - Name of the applicant, PAN card of proprietor, ID proof of the proprietor ( such as Driving licence/Passport/Election Card), address proof of proprietor, address proof for the premises, complete details of the applicant with their residential address and telephone number etc.
