TankhaPay Wins Gold at the 10th CII National HR Circle Competition 2026
Akal Information Systems Ltd. won the Gold Award for TankhaPay at the 10th CII National HR Circle Competition 2026, in the Best Practices in Digitization in HR category. The competition was held in Gurugram on 9 and 10 July 2026.
What is the CII National HR Circle Competition?
The CII National HR Circle Competition is organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry through its Centre of Excellence for Competitiveness for SMEs. Organisations present their HR practices to an expert jury, category by category.
The 2026 edition was the tenth, held under the theme "Striving for Excellence in HR".
Why did TankhaPay win Gold?
TankhaPay showed the jury how digital HR can simplify payroll, compliance and workforce management at scale. The win reflects a simple belief: these do not have to be complicated in India, and HR deserves technology built for the realities of the workplace, not just presentations and promises.
Standing alongside some of India's most respected organisations, and talking with industry leaders about the future of HR technology, was a proud milestone for the entire Akal family.
Who presented TankhaPay to the jury?
Director Bakshin Kaur and Harish Nawani, CHRO and National Business Head, presented TankhaPay before the jury.
